Event Organisers

Chattertons act on behalf of landowners and event organisers in respect of the licensing aspects of holding temporary events such as festivals, shows, horse trials and authorised raves to enable organisers to provide late night entertainment, arrange for regulated entertainment.

A temporary event notice (TEN) covers smaller events where fewer than 500 people are due to attend and the duration of the event is less than 168 hours (7 days).

A TEN is required where the organiser intends to sell and/or supply alcohol, provide entertainment or provide late nigh refreshments (including hot food) between the hours of 11pm and 5am.

It is always the best course of action to check whether an event licence is required. By contacting Chattertons, we will take instructions on the nature of your event and provide you with the advice and services required.
