Daniel Elkington is an Independent Financial Adviser, specialising in wealth management and Charitable investments.
Daniel has experience of outside roles as a treasurer of a registered charity, as chair of a multi-academy trust and as area co-ordinator of a Lincolnshire-wide policy forum.
In addition he is deputy chairman for facilities for The Boston Town Team, which involves creating economic studies and business focussed papers to consult with Boston Borough and Lincolnshire County Councils to shape future policy development.
He primarily acts for clients throughout Lincolnshire as well as MP’s, CEO’s and COO’s of FTSE100 companies in addition to advising national charities and regularly travels nationally to see his clients.
His work involves two main areas:
1. Constructing tax strategies to ensure that, in the long-term, individuals are able to retire earlier by paying less lifetime tax as well as ensuring maximum efficiency when passing on the estate to the next generation;
2. Constructing investment solutions to maximise on market opportunities and to maximise growth within the risk framework agreed with his clients.
As well as this Daniel sits on the firm’s investment committee to consult on the investment proposition across the firm, ensuring that all clients have an appropriate investment strategies.
In his spare time, he serves on many local voluntary causes, reads a lot of economics textbooks - citing “The Wealth of Nations” as his favourite book, and spends time with his young family.
