Qualifications: LL.B (Hons), Solicitors’ Finals
Desley is a Solicitor and Partner at our Boston office. She undertakes a mix of employment and dispute resolution work; for employers and employees, businesses and individuals: ranging from settlement agreements, tribunal claims/ responses, to employment contracts and staff handbooks; NCTL/DBS issues; contract/business and neighbour/boundary disputes; landlord and tenant and professional negligence matters. She also holds the CLT Specialist Paralegal Qualification in Licensing Law.
Desley was educated at Boston High School before taking her law degree at the University of Birmingham at Edgbaston, followed by her Solicitors' Finals at Nottingham Law School.
Having lived and worked for several years in Staffordshire, Desley took a year off to travel and then moved to Cambridge where she lived for 14 years. Desley returned to Boston to be nearer her family.
Desley has also been a Co-opted Governor of Boston Grammar School since 2016 and is a Clerk to the Parry Gold Medal Trust.
In her spare time, Desley enjoys everything to do with property development; she loves theatre and musicals, and spending time with her family: Desley is married with three children.
