Patrick became a Partner at Chattertons in 1992 and was appointed Chairman in May 2016.

Internally,  Patrick is our Compliance Officer for Legal Practice -  responsible for ensuring we meet our professional responsibilities, for managing risk and providing guidance to colleagues. He also heads our Private Client team advocating a modern yet careful and sympathetic approach.

As a litigation and dispute resolution specialist for over thirty years, Patrick continues to help  business and personal clients to win their cases. He is a member of the  Association of Professional Negligence Lawyers but his dispute resolution work spans a wide spectrum, from complex equity claims, to property disputes, to large commercial disputes.  He also defends clients accused of road traffic offences and regulatory crime.  Patrick is recognised for his expertise in alcohol and entertainment licensing and in education law – regularly advising parents, schools and colleges.

In his spare time Patrick loves to travel and he enjoys the countryside, music, food and drink.
