Sarah Burke

Area of Expertise: Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Inheritance Tax Planning. Sarah's day to day work will also involve the Administration of Estates.

Sarah is currently undertaking the new examination route to qualifying as a Solicitor through the Legal Practice Course and Solicitor's Qualifying Examinations. She has also completed three Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) examinations to work towards becoming TEP qualified.

Sarah has a background of dealing with vulnerable clients and is empathetic in her approach. She is able to understand a client's needs, provide tailored legal advice and finds supporting clients in difficult life circumstances extremely rewarding.

• Law LLB (Hons) from the University of Manchester;
• Graduated with a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course and LLM Master's Degree in Law, both studied at Nottingham Trent University;
• Attained a Commendation in the Solicitor's Qualifying Examination (2) Preparation Course PGCert studied at Nottingham Trent University;
• Attained a Distinction in the STEP Certificate in the Administration of Trusts & Estates and a high Commendation in both the STEP Advanced Certificates in Will Preparation and Taxation of Trusts and Estates.
