Chattertons Enters UK's Top 200 Law Firms
Chattertons has been revealed as one of the UK’s top 200 law firms by The Lawyer. Our firm is one of 8 new entrants to the list for 2020 after a strong financial year – revenue for the period ending 30th April 2020 was up by 27% from £9.8M to £12.4M.
The Lawyer’s UK 200: The Independents 2020 showcases the most successful law firms in the UK in terms of key metrics such as revenue growth, head count and diversity. With over 10,000 law firms in the UK only the top 2% of firms are included.
Notably, we are excelling in terms of gender diversity at partner level, with our proportion of female partners at 63% compared with 36% across all the Independents on the Top 200 list.
We’ve gone through a major period of growth over the past year following our acquisition of Stamford firm, Daltons, in June 2019 and Lincoln firm, Andrew & Co, in December 2019. This increased our staff numbers by 25%.
With a total head count of just over 200, we are able to provide a full range of legal and wealth management services. We have bolstered both our personal and business law teams whilst also growing our wealth management division.
Overall, our success is a testament to the commitment of our hardworking team, including our fee earners and support staff, who continue to provide the highest quality of service despite the challenges of Covid-19 this year.
