Charity of the Year 2016

  • Posted

Our team worked hard throughout 2016 fundraising for our Charity of the Year, The Brain Tumour Charity, and celebrations are in order for the fantastic amount of money our employees and supporters raised last year.

£6,133.92 was raised for this worthy cause in 2016. The loss of a team member to a brain tumour in 2015 meant that the charity was a natural choice for our employees to support. From bake-a-thons to sporting bandanas for the day there was no stopping our enthusiastic fundraisers!

Katherine Bunting, Partner and Head of the Charity Committee at Chattertons, said, “we are so proud of the whole team for raising such a substantial amount of money for The Brain Tumour Charity. It is a cause close to our hearts and we can’t thank the people who have supported our events enough. We are now looking forward to doing the same in 2017 raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and our Charity Committee are working hard to organise various charity events throughout the year.”

The Brain Tumour Charity works towards raising awareness, funding research and supporting those with brain tumours not only to improve their quality of life but ultimately to reduce diagnosis time and save lives.
