Kate started her law career with a top 100 law firm based in London and has over 20 years of knowledge. Whilst working in London, Kate worked with high profile and famous clients assisting with their dispute resolution matters. Kate relocated to the East Midlands and began undertaking Private Client work.
Kate joined Chattertons in November 2018 as a paralegal in the Private Client Department based at the Newark office. Kate assists with the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney, obtaining Grants of Probate, progressing Probate Estate Administration and assisting with the management of attorneyship matters. Kate has experience in assisting clients and families that have been affected by Dementia and Mental Incapacity in varying forms. Kate has a very sympathetic and caring approach and is sensitive to the fact that difficult decisions often need to be made. She will advise on a best course of action, keeping clients fully updated and is always on hand to answer any queries.
In her spare time Kate enjoys walking her two dogs, Basil & Molly.
