Lorna is a Chartered Legal Executive with over 30 years of experience in construction law which was preceded by 8 years in commercial litigation.

Lorna offers her wealth of knowledge and support to members across the construction industry including SMEs, private individuals, professionals. developers, contractors and trade federations  by drafting  construction related contracts including but not limited to, building contracts, development agreements, collateral warranties and terms and conditions of business.  Lorna believes that acting for clients across the industry helps to offer a wider perspective on the issues that arise.

Lorna also advises on dispute resolution within the construction industry, including supporting clients through Court pre-action protocol stages, mediation, adjudication, arbitration and claims  within the Technology and Construction and other Courts.

Lorna's approach is kind, empathetic and considerate but pragmatic and no nonsense aiming to get swiftly to the root of the dispute and from that to a sensible solution.

• Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, qualifying in 1994
• Studied for CILEx membership at Cambridge College of Arts and Technology (1987 -  1989) and then with CILEx (1989 – 1992)
