Patrick has practiced law in the Spalding area for several firms of Solicitors since 1977 after attending Spalding Grammar School and Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham where he obtained a law degree. He joined Chattertons in 2011 and he currently leads the Private Client Team in their Spalding office.
He deals with the preparation of wills, advising on inheritance tax planning, acts for Executors and Administrators in the administration of estates and deals with powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.
He has been associated with the Spalding Town Husbands for over 20 years and is the Clerk to the Spalding Almshouse Charity and the Spalding Relief in Need Charity He is also the Clerk to the Cowley's Endowed Schools Foundation in Donington and Chairman of Trustees and Company Secretary of Age UK Spalding District which runs the John Van Geest Day Care Centre in Spalding.
Patrick was born and brought up in Gosberton where his parents were local farmers. He has lived in Spalding for over thirty years and is married with one step-son and two granddaughters and a terrier called Barney who likes to call in various licensed premises in the town when on his evening walk. Patrick enjoys gardening and is a member of the Spalding Duplicate Bridge Club and the Spalding Club where he plays snooker regularly but not very well.
