Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management Acquires Double & Megson, Strengthening Regional Presence and Expanding Integrated Services Offering
Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management has announced the acquisition of Double & Megson Solicitors, effective 1 July 2026, a move that further accelerates the firm’s expansion across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.
The deal is part of Chattertons’ ambitious growth strategy and follows numerous acquisitions over the years including Page Nelson and JGQC in Lincoln last year, reinforcing its position as a Top 200 legal and professional services firm. The addition of offices in Bourne and Market Deeping strengthens client coverage across the county, supporting the firm’s long‑term plan for strategic expansion.
Double & Megson’s offices at 11 Market Place, Market Deeping, and 4 West Street, Bourne, will continue to operate as usual under the Chattertons brand. Clients will benefit from continuity of service delivered by the existing teams, alongside access to Chattertons’ broader offering, which includes commercial and private client legal services, independent financial advice, and specialist tax planning.
