Double & Megson Joins Forces with Chattertons in Exciting New Chapter for Clients

Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management, will become the successor practice to Double & Megson Solicitors from 1 July 2026, further strengthening our delivery of legal, wealth management, and tax advisory services across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.

The transaction marks an exciting step forward for clients across Market Deeping, Bourne, and the wider region, combining Double & Megson’s trusted local presence with the wider legal, wealth management, and tax advisory expertise offered by Chattertons.

Chattertons will continue to operate from Double & Megson’s existing offices in Market Deeping and Bourne, with the combined firm trading as Chattertons Incorporating Double & Megson.

Clients can expect continuity from the same familiar teams and advisers they know and trust, alongside access to an expanded range of services and specialist expertise.

Founded in 1978, Double & Megson has supported individuals, families, and businesses across the local community for almost 50 years, building a reputation for approachable advice and personal service. Its client-focused ethos and strong community ties closely align with Chattertons’ own values and long-standing history across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.

Current owners Richard Wood and Shanta Shah will both join Chattertons as consultants and continue leading the Bourne and Market Deeping offices respectively, ensuring continuity for clients.
