Chattertons Solicitors Lifesaver Walk for Anthony Nolan

On Saturday 13th September, employees from Chattertons took part in their annual charity walk in support of their Charity of the Year, Anthony Nolan.

As part of Blood Cancer Awareness Month, the team, alongside family and friends, completed a 17-mile Lifesaver Walk around Rutland Water, raising over £2,000 to support the life-saving work Anthony Nolan carries out.

Every 14 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer, and for many, a stem cell transplant from a stranger is their only hope of survival. Each year, over 2,000 people in the UK need a bone marrow or stem cell transplant. Anthony Nolan is the UK’s leading charity connecting patients in urgent need with donors willing to give them a second chance at life.

Katherine Bunting, Partner and Head of the Charity Committee at Chattertons, said: “It was wonderful to see so many of our hard-working team, plus family and friends, give up their Saturday to take part in this event and raise funds for Anthony Nolan.”
