Chattertons New Partner Appointment in Employment Law, Stamford

Chattertons is pleased to announce the appointment of Ed McFarlane as Partner and Solicitor Advocate (Civil) in its Stamford office, strengthening the firm’s Employment Law team.

Ed brings over 20 years of experience representing clients in Employment Tribunals and has appeared before the Employment Appeal Tribunal 25 times. He specialises in a wide range of employment matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE, settlements, costs, and tribunal litigation. Known for his clear communication and practical approach, Ed is also a committed trainer, helping clients navigate complex employment law issues. One of his former appeal cases, Wicked Vision is going to the Supreme Court in May 2026 and could re-write the law on aspects of whistleblowing and liability of managers and directors for whistleblowing dismissals.
