When relationships break down disputes often arise about:

  • What the arrangements will be for both parents continuing to be a part of their childrens’ lives,
  • Whether a parent should be prevented from doing something which the other parent does not believe is in the childrens’ best interests,
  • Whether there are specific issues which one parent thinks important and about which agreement can be sought.

Sometimes separating couples cannot agree about what is best for their children, and then we will advise you about issuing proceedings to place the matter before the Court, for the Court to decide.  This is a complex area of law, where you need the input of a specialist family lawyer to guide you.
