Injury Awareness Week 2025

Injury Awareness Week (23-27 June) takes place every year for the simple reason that nobody really thinks about what it means to be injured by negligence until it happens to them. Injured people matter, and their rights must be protected.

If you have been injured due to a mistake, negligence or deliberate action by another person or organisation, claiming compensation can be essential to allow you to deal with the consequences and rebuild your life.

The majority of Leanne's own caseload consists of personal injury matters, where she runs cases from first instruction through to settlement. This includes road traffic accidents, accidents at work and public liability accidents.  She also assists senior colleagues with higher value cases and clinical negligence claims.

Cody Jay
Apprentice Solicitor Personal Injury – Lincoln
Cody graduated from The University of Law in 2021. He joined Chattertons as a Legal Support Assistant and has progressed into his current role assisting more senior colleagues dealing with a wide range of matters across the departments. His intentions are to become a qualified lawyer as soon as he can.
