Amanda Voakes (nee Gale) qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 and joined Chattertons in September 2018.

Accredited STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners ) and accredited Solicitor for the Elderly.

Amanda is a Private Client solicitor with considerable experience in Will drafting, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection Work, Estate Administration and Inheritance Tax Planning. Amanda has a particular interest in areas of mental incapacity and is a recognised “Dementia Champion” having undertaken training with the Alzheimers Society.

Amanda is a Director and Chair of Radford Care Group which is a Charity providing day care services to the elderly in Nottingham and is founder and facilitator of The Nottingham Mental Capacity Forum (a professional group attended by those working in the care sector and meeting 3 or 4 times a year).

Outside of work Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
