Catriona read law at Birmingham University, completing her training and several years legal experience in West Yorkshire. She moved to Lincoln in 1995 and was a partner in Andrew & Co from 1995 until it bacame part of Chattertons in 2019.
Since qualifying in 1989 Catriona has acted in many commercial transactions and having originally worked in corporate law has a good understanding of how property transactions link into the business as a whole. She can discuss available options and advise in a practical and clear manner.
Catriona acts for charities and other not for profit organisations such as Community Interest Companies. She now has over twenty years experience of advising charities and their trustees in matters ranging from registrations, mergers, conversions to CIO, property acquisitions and disposals, contracts, church sharing agreements, formations of CICs and corporate governance issues. As a charity trustee herself she can speak with practical knowledge of the issues which trustees need to consider and address
